congratulations on quitting, Keep it up, its the best decision you can make. I never experienced any symptoms as u describe, but nicotine anonymous has a great online website with both message boards and also live online meetings, like a chat room, there are meeting every day you can go to,, also with voice, not just typing.. its pretty cool and alot of verynice people there...

Believe it or not, phillipmorrisusa.com has smoking cessation pages that are really well-made. Also, if you choose to use the patch or gum or anything like that, they include as part of the price free smoking cessation support over the phone, which is nice when you're having a craving. I used Zyban and the patch when I quit four years ago, and even though I relapsed, I did succeed for 3 1/2 years. Good luck and remember - it's worth it! :)

Normal. It was an addiction, after all. Keep the fluids running, and to stave off the urge, I got a big bowl and mixed M+M's and Cocktail peanuts together, and used them for my hand to mouth urge. Worked well for me, and I smoked 3 packs a day. Went cold turkey and haven't looked back....Good Luck!!!

That happened to my boyfriend when he quit. You can expect some flu-like muscle soreness and tightness. Anything goes basically. Keep hydrated, eat healthy, even work out and sweat to get some of that crap out of your system. Drink green tea. Stick with it and good luck, you're doing something really good for yourself.
