I am a receptionist at the company my boyfriend works at. Nothing is wrong so far, we see each other every now and then and hangout after work...Its working for the both of us. Unless you see this person all the time at work and then all the time outside of work, it shouldnt be a problem...but if you in constant contact with him then you dont want to over do it, you might get tired of seeing him and need your space...

I think it depends on several factors. Most importantly, how do you two relate to each other in a serious situation. And what type of job do you do. I sure wouldn't want to work with my boyfriend if I was a hooker or exotic dancer. He might get jealous and hurt the customers!

NO. You have to think of how it would look to the other employees. If one of you was promoted, the other employees might wrongly suspect that you'd show favoritism toward your love interest. And what if you broke up? Then you'd still have to see that person when you came in to work every day, or you'd have to get transferred or get another job. Bad idea any way you look at it.

I met my boyfriend at work. Sometimes its great because its like "hey, I'm getting paid to hang with my boyfriend". And other times its hard to remain professional. I wouldn't recommend it in case something happens and u split up.

well my bf and I were already together when we both got a job at this company....actually we had a lot of fun cause we spent more time together and we were always doing crazy stuff at work....I think it really depends on the person....if you love to be around each other all the time then Im sure its not soo bad

Definitely not..... especially if you are working in a place where you need to deal with customers. Your boyfriend might feel you are spending to much with a male customer.. and might get jealous. Plus.. you would be seeing him at work..after work... when would you have to for yourself. ???

No,from my own experience i don't think its a good idea,because if you or her are jealous human beings its going to be trouble.She might want to conversate with the men sometimes and vise versa and one of u might get jealous.

yes as long as you pay more attention to your work rather the your bf or gf and don't talk to them in a manner of speaking like what r we doing this weekend .
