Looking over the top answerer in HEALTH, http://answers.yahoo.com/dir/stars?sid=396545018 I noticed a trend. This person always seems to get the best answer so I went about trying to find out why. I looked back at their questions and watched them when they went up for voting. Some went the full week with no votes right up until the end then suddenly this one person would get votes. They would vote for their own under multiple names and no one else had any. When I would vote for another answer, they would come back and add more votes to make sure they won. I know this is true because I can tell when the person is online by the questions they answer. They keep voting for their own answers no matter what. I count at least 8 yahoo names. I think this is pretty desperate. She claims to be a healthcare professional and acts like a child always wanting to be #1. Look at her questions and see for yourself. Watch the ones up for voting today, you will see the trend. Is that ethical/cheating?

And NO, I'm not mad because my answers are not picked, as you see I don't answer much and mine are usually of the smart *** nature ... lol. I just think it's crap that she does this. As to how I know she has many names, I've watched the votes go up right at the last minute. Look back at her questions and you will see it too. Even if someone above her gave the EXACT same answer her's is chosen as best with 2 votes. It's pathelogically pathetic. LMAO

Report it. I access Answers from two different e-mail accounts with two different names, but I never answer the same question from both names, nor do I ever vote for myself in any way. Anyone who does is doing two very wrong things: attempting to seem like someone they are not (by becoming top answerer, they look like an expert of some sort and might cause a problem with their faulty answers) and it is unfair to whoever is the legitimate top answerer.
For those attempting to cheat or scam in some way on Answers, I have this to say: I know it's cliche, but you need to first get a life outside of answers so you will only answer when you truly have something to say. Plus, you will feel truly wonderful when you give a well-thought-out answer from the place of truly wanting to help and then are rewarded with an e-mail that says it was chosen as best answer. It means you are doing something right and putting good into the world instead of seeing what you can take out. Do no harm and help when you can.

I definitely believe you and encourage you to notify Yahoo Answers staff about it. I 've also noticed people with multiple accounts , or people with "friends", answering their questions to "always" have the most votes for their answers. I definitely agree with what "Meow" said above, if true, it's just really sad. Probably someone who wanted to be a Doctor, or have the "authority" of a Doctor, but didn't have the brains and emotional strength to see it through.

Its good you found out, I think you did a nice job on that, be sure to report it.
Pretty sad what she's doing, her info says enough about how she is.. If she's happy with this fake feeling of honor, I let her have it.. just too bad for the other ppl that she steals away the best answers, it spoils the game and I hope yahoo does something about it.

So you're complaining because your answers aren't picked as the best? It's not illegal to vote for your own answers. If you can't prove anything, don't accuse. You're the one acting childish, following this person to see if she's legit or not.

This is just for fun. Anyone who feels the need to figure out a way to cheat just to get the top answer is mental in one way or another. Who cares, just answer questions and have fun with it!

your conspiracy theory has merit, my friend. You should be a detective - if you want we can join forces to bring this villain down!
There's no point being a winner if you're just a big cheating loser. This person prob goes to bed & cries themselves to sleep every night.
