You have to put your own needs and wants and feelings aside and just to it. Sound hard I know, but your cat maybe suffering, and I am sure it is hard to see your cat go through it. Take Care

It is very hard but it's part of the circle of life. You should be happy and proud of all the good times you and your cat have had together. The ultimate act of love is to help your cat pass on and relieve her suffering rather than prolonging any pain she is in. With all my pets, I bury them and plant a flower above them. Over the years, when I see the flowers, I think back on what joy they have given me and I have given them. If you believe in a life after death, they will be there waiting for you, wagging their tails and smiling. So because you love your cat, the most honorable act of love is to help her pass on and spend her last minutes on earth with her in comfort.

My aunt's dog was putted down like two months ago, I was very sad too, because, I practicly grew up with my aunt and my grandmother (they took care of me when I was little because my parents were working). One day the dog(was a female called Shanti) started convulsing(she was old, my aunt found her in the street like 13 or 14 years ago , Shanti had both her back legs fractured and was dirty. My aunt took her to the vet and took her home.), she convulsed because she had hitted really hard her head with somthing and broke a little bit her skull.
I really miss Shanti, and after Shant died I understanded that everything living thing has to die.
Take your cat to the vet, he or she will know what to do.
Don't be sad, enjoy your life.

I am so very sorry......... I had to put Elvira down after 15 years, it was hard, you think you cannot get through it but you will. I new it was for the best with her she was suffering so bad. I turned it over to God it helped. I'll sure pray for you. Just remeber we have new lives born every day and things die everyday its just the way Gods plan is we don't want to be over populated. God Bless you.

While it may be a hard thing to do, it would be the best in the end, if it needs to be done. Instead of you taking her to the vet, let a friend or family member after you have said your good-byes. I have had to do the same thing before and I cried for days.

that is one thing that stinks about life. why do dogs and cats live for
a short period of time. why can't they live like 40 or 50 years.
but i can see why it is the way it is now. other wise their would be
billions of cats and dogs. i feel sorry for you. you know what to do.
at least its painless. after a week or so. get another cute little
kitty cat.

Spend the last night and days with your kitty and say a prayer and give the kitty the last of your love and take a picture for remembrance;)
Then when your go to your local shelter and look for your reincarnation

OMG IM SOOO SORRY!!! I would be really sad if I had to put down my kitten. But to help deal with it just think your cat will not be hurting or suffering anymore and just think of if you dont put your cat down she/he will be hurting and will probably die painfully. hope i helped^_^

here's a very painless way, distract yourself with something fun, then get someone for example like if your young your parents... but if your an adult get a freind to do it for you. if you distract yourself as much as possible it might not hurt as much.. and im sorry you have to put them down i have to cats i hope i never have to do that :-(
