No, it is better that a loving family, whatever that is, raise the children that our society has cast off.
How many children have you adopted?

It is better that a mother and a father raise a child together, after that I would say that the natural single parent is doing the best they can and would be next in preference. By the way until I was 9 I was raised by my mother. She had help from our family. So I grew up in an extended family with only a mother not a dad. We are talking what is best not what is the only way. I am raising my sons with both parents. People today give up on a marriage too easily.
Peace of Christ,
Debra

It really depends cause in a single parent home they have to make up for the missing parent and in a gay parent home you have to make up for having two of the same sex parents. Just cause a traditional family consists of a mother and father doesnt mean thats how it should be for everyone. Most single and gay parents home nurture and love their child the same way a traditional family would. And their kids grow up more open minded about life, people, and relationships and other issues.
Most people just say a traditional family is the right way and only way to have a family but thats cause our world is still closeminded about situations they truly dont understand.

The best family is one raised by parents or a parent who love(s) the child and can provide a good and stable life for the child. That can be a single parent, a gay couple, or a mother and father, or any combination thereof.

I think it would certainly be easier for two parents to raise a child than one parent, regardless of whether the parents were gay or straight. I don't know if I could really say that any family situation is universally "better" than the others, though. "Better" can only be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

I was raised by one parent and it was really hard for her. I kind of missed the influence of a father figure because he didn't want anything to do with either one of us. I do think it is healthier to have a mother and father influence in a child's life.

The best conditions for a child to be rasied in is a loving environment, whether it be by a mother and father, one person, two people of the same sex, or a community.

Both situations are terrible. The best way to raise children is in an orphanage after both parents have been killed in a car accident. It's been proven that these children grow up to be fighters, and very good and courteous drivers too.

As long as the child is well loved and taken care of there should not be a problem.
