Honesty is alway the best policy, absolutely. People who lie to get what they want usually end up losing in the end.

I believe it depends on the situation but not telling the truth should not be a way of life. Sometimes honesty hurts but it helps in the long run!!

NOT always. Lol most of the time, I'd have to agree with Yes, it is. But in some cases it's not - these cases being small of course. Obviously if you're in court for something you should tell the complete and honest truth.

Yes. I like to temper my honesty with an acronym:

TKN:

True, Kind and Necessary.

If it's not all three, then don't say it.

If someone shows me a new baby, and it's ugly, I won't tell them it's ugly. I will say he or she is "so precious". All babies are not pretty, but ALL babies are precious!

How much honesty about your true nature can you withstand? Can you look yourself in the eye and say you know who you are? test your own ability to be honest.

In most cases yes! In some cases it is definitely better to lie!! for instance if your girlfriend asks you questions like... am I better in bed then your last girl... or do I look fat... or do you like to cuddle.. etc.etc. She is only looking for an answer that will make her feel better..she is not looking for the truth! Trust me!! In some cases it is better to spare a person hurt feelings and yourself the torment that an honest answer may bring!

Almost always. If someone's cheating, yes. With all the diseases and all...If you're trying not to hurt someone's feelings,do I look fat in this? then no. It's all about circumstances and remembering to be a good person.
