Perhaps they are in the bible, read this...
Job 41:1
"Can you pull in the leviathan with a fishhook or tie down his tongue with a rope?
Psalm 74:14
It was you who crushed the heads of Leviathan and gave him as food to the creatures of the desert.
Job 40:15
"Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox.

Many believe the dinosaurs are actually mentioned in the Bible, in passages like Job 40 that mention "behemoths" or "leviathans." But on another note, the story of the Bible takes place within the past 6000 years, while dinosaurs were wiped out 65 million years ago. The first two chapters of Genesis cover all the time leading up to about 6000 years ago. The two accounts are not in conflict, as is often claimed. If Genesis is understood within the context of time dilation, theorized by Einstein and since proved to be true, the Genesis account actually matches commonly accepted evolutionary accounts remarkably well.

Because the Bible was written by superstitious, primitive goat herders who sat around campfires at night, terrified of the darkness and the scary things it contained, and shivering at every clap of thunder from the heavens. They had no understanding of how the world worked and so they made up stories to try and explain it. These stories did not originate with them, but within the cultures from which they emerged, and those cultures got them from their ancestors, and so on, way back to whoever it was first created the idea of gods. So, what you read in Genesis is simply a rehash of all the different stories that those ignorant goat-herders heard from other people, changed a little to suit their own needs and beliefs, and passed down to you in this goofy collection of myth and fable that we call the Bible.
The thing is, neither they nor their ancestors had a clue about dinosaurs, evolution, or the universe being billions of years old. They may have found the occasional fossil brontosaurus emerging from a cliff, but they would have called it a dragon or a cyclops or a sea monster or what-have-you. That is why no dinosaurs are in the Bible.

Because dinosaurs existed in "prehistoric" times. This means that humans didn't write down or pass down information during this time. So, there is no human history of dinosaurs, just what we know from digging up bones. Those who wrote or orally passed down the Old Testament had no idea that dinosaurs ever existed. The creation story with Adam and Eve is symbolic, not an actual history. If you take the Bible literally and as a history, you will certainly find it to contradict the facts of Earth's past.

Nice examples of Dinosaurs. The thing is that the dinosaurs aren't really mentioned in any detail in the bible. Some Christians preach that the Earth is only 5,000 years old and anything that supposedly predates the bible is made up. Even though there is hardcore proof of the existance of the earth before Jesus and the bible. I think there is many things that prove the bible wrong.

Why does it matter about dinosaurs in the Bible---- Geesh! I don't recall reading about a lot of the animals in the Bible. Why does everyone think that just because it wasn't in the Bible and dinosaurs are real- or where- that the Bible must be made up? I could name several animals that still exists today that were not mentioned in the Bible- does that mean it isn't true? No, it just means they weren't important. Besides, I think Cave men were after Bible times.

Ummm, I think the dinosaurs were excluded because during Biblical times, people didn't really care about excavating things so they had no idea dinosaurs had even been around. What I am wondering is why the PYRAMIDS aren't mentioned in the Bible. They've supposedly been around for thousands of years and being in Egypt and all, where a lot of the Bible took place, why didn't anyone mention the Pyramids? Hmmm. Now you've got me wondering about the dinosaurs, tho.

Where in the bible does it talk about woodpeckers, or coyotes, or, elephants?
Just because the bible didnt directly talk about each animal in the time, doesnt mean they werent around.
Many believe the behemoth mentioned in the bible was a dinosaur, because no other living animal today has a tail that is described so big.
Than again some believe the Behemoth was an analogy for the harsh lands and the Leviathan was an anaology the seas and oceans.

I noticed that alot of people said that dinosaurs are mentioned in the bible but they seem to be missing a key point. These Bible passages suggest that humans and dinosaurs coexisted. The dinosaurs died out at the end of the Cretaceous period. This was 65 million years ago. Humans did not enter the fossil record until 90,000 years ago, a deficit of 64,910,000 years.

DInosaurs are in the Bible. An example of two DInosaurs are described in Job 40, see the descriptionof Behemoth and Leviathon
15 "Look at the behemoth, [a]
which I made along with you
and which feeds on grass like an ox.
16 What strength he has in his loins,
what power in the muscles of his belly!
17 His tail [b] sways like a cedar;
the sinews of his thighs are close-knit.
18 His bones are tubes of bronze,
his limbs like rods of iron.
19 He ranks first among the works of God,
yet his Maker can approach him with his sword.
20 The hills bring him their produce,
and all the wild animals play nearby.
21 Under the lotus plants he lies,
hidden among the reeds in the marsh.
22 The lotuses conceal him in their shadow;
the poplars by the stream surround him.
23 When the river rages, he is not alarmed;
he is secure, though the Jordan should surge against his mouth.
24 Can anyone capture him by the eyes, [c]
or trap him and pierce his nose?
The modrn word Dinosaur was invented in the 19th century, prior to that they would have been the few remaining dinos after the flood of Noah and refered to as dragons and largely wiped out
