I am planning my wedding myself. And im going to give you a couple sites that are very very useful. First register for the knot very good site, it helps you with everything. I am using their checklist, bugeter, and lots more from this site. It keeps you very orangized. The company oriental trading helps with the favors, decorations, and more. The prices are reasonable. Another website is forever and always this has the rest of the wedding things you need. For inivations try dawns invitations. They are pretty cute and the prices are not bad. You could also make the invitations by yourself. Good luck and have fun. Best of wishes. Congrads.

A wedding can be so crazy! You should already have your rings picked out and you should start planning who you r going 2 invite and where the wedding is going 2 be held and the wedding cake. Dont forget the cake (that's the main reasons i go 2 weddings) Then there's a band! That is hard cause a lot of couples i know have trouble on that! Well Good luck!

First thing is getting the reservation for the church and reception hall, no sence in planning a wedding without a place to have it. Then start with invitaions, and the meal (guessing at how many will come for the meal) there are many many books at your local bookstore that will help you not miss anything. Or if money is ok you can always hire a wedding coordinator who will make sure everything is done, and done the way you want it.

Congratulations!! I am getting married in Nov, as well!! I too am on a tight budget so I have been all over the internet and I will give you some tips that I have learned...
Wedding Website @ Wedding Channel.com-this allows you to make your own website in which you can announce all of your information about your wedding and register at different department stores(Macy's,Bloomingdales ,J.C Penny etc...Don't freak about the stores because they have reasonalble prices on some things...Also the stores you register with have free card inserts you can order for your invitations that give your website info and You can Order a Wedding Planner Book from JC Penny (make sure you order this book!!!) It is a HUGE HELP w/ organizing everything! Now for a little help w/ the wedding theme..First figure out a theme and with that you can figure out how to make it happen,I found out that you can do alot of stuff for low money. You can rent arches and MANY items @Taylor Rental that you'd never imagine!!and thier prices are not bad @ all! Then look @ Party time rental.com they have prom themes that give you ideas for themes. There is a paper that is seamless paper that you purchase by the foot,You can get any color. Then you can cover the walls w/the color you want, then nthere is a paper called gossemer that you can make curtains out of & staple it right to the paper. fluff the gossemer@ the bottom and put clear lights behind it for a beautiful effect. @ Taylor Rental has table top covers that are different colors and you put the gossemer around the main tables (Staple) and you can put bows around the edges as well as putting the lights under it.(Table),you ccan rent colums @ Taylor too and make curtains lit up between two and then put balloons(your wedding colors w/ your names on them) around the columns. For inexpensive center pieces use tall pilsner glasses (like bar glasses) and put( your wedding colors)tule inside w/clear lights taped beneath the table and put silve swirl sicks w/one rose of each color of your wedding and voila!! YOu have beautiful center pieces!! Well this should get you started,e mail me for more help!!!Good Luck!!

a dress is a great start now plan the wedding according to the general style of the dress..does it have a really long train? or none at all, is it strapless or does it cover you all over..your attendants will follow in style, then the place you hold the ceremony will have to match the tone of the wedding. but with a tight budget outdoors is the best bet. so maybe a outdoor garden with a gazeboo? simple is elegant, one attendant each small bunch of flowers and 50 rented chairs.

I just got married in May and had my dress before anything else too. The next thing you need to figure out is where you are going to get married. Are you going to have a reception? Can you have your ceremony & reception at the same place? That was what we did. We were thinking about cost and finances too. Then figure out if you are goin to have a photographer or dj or how you are going to take care of those 2 things. Maybe you have family or friends who are good with photography or you can make a mixec cd of songs you want to play and play it on a cd player.

decide if you want to be married in a church or banquet hall since it's cold in Feb. Also decide on how people you want, and it helps to watch "whosw wedding is this anyway" on the style network or other wedding shows.
