Explain why or why not I personally think its better the way it is one big vacation. I'm asking this because I remember it came up one time in my school news paper and I wanted to know how people felt about it

I think I would be a supporter of year-round schooling (which is several smaller breaks). I'm speaking from a teacher's point of view. Aside from the fact that student learning would be more consistent without a huge summer break, teacher burnout would be much less. I've been sitting around relaxing for a month now and I'm refreshed and motivated. But I know that a few months into school I will be working on school stuff 9-12 hours a day and in desperate need of a break. I think the only downside to it would be the loss of summer camps. I think they are so important. But hey, we're not looking to switch where I am so I guess I needn't worry.

As long as there is a Winter Break and a Spring Break....there should be a long Summer Break.
I don't think there should be "little" breaks. School would basically be year round...literally. That is just too much!!!
