We went to Oban on the last trip.Took the ferry to the isle of Mull and then over to Iona.A really neat trip but there are very few places to stay in either place.Crianlarich is a beautiful place in the Highlands. In fact everythingis nice in the Highlands.Find a nice place in Peebles or Selkirk to stay and tour the Borders. The Tweed is quite Historic and to see the Border abbeys that were ruined by Henry VIII.It is really neat to hike to the top of Ben Nevis.I did it for my 40th birthday. It was the neatest thing I've ever done and a great accomplishment. There are many sheep farms that you can stay in Scotland. It would be an experience.

I went to Scotland about 4 years ago. I had a great time and I loved Edinburgh! I was only there about a week. I also went to a place on the coast, I think it was called Berwick. We also went to Stirling to check out the castle. While I was in Edinburgh there was a festival of some sort going on. There was live music in the evenings, street performers all day, lots of venders selling art and jewelry. I think the worst part was getting stuck in the airport all day.
