I dont have olive oil to make my potato in the oven. Can i use vegetable oil?

Yes, you can. Olive is way better for you, though. I'm sure you knew that.

Yes. You may even use butter. As long as it isn't coated to heavily. Also it depends on if you wrap your potato also. If you do, butter would work best, if not wrapping use the oil. Any oil should work, you could even use a lard or Crisco.

I never use oil to bake my potato in the oven.

If you are looking to make a baked potato, just slice 1/2 way through the potato ~ add a little butter in the center if you like, wrap it w/ foil and bake. :)

You can make a baked potato in the microwave much faster. Just put a potato in a bowl with a little water in it - cover w/ pastic wrap bake about 5 minutes and wah-lah! :)

yes u can use vegetable oil and butter i've never used olive oil at all

try putting some garlic cloves in the potato, and then applying the vegetable oil. it makes tummys happy!!!!

yes, they serve the same purpose. just differnt in health, and not much taste difference to the average taste buds
