No its not a sin, well not in my bible. Some religions make up their own sins. It make look horrible with tattoos and oiercing over your body not a good look for a decent job. You do what your heart tells you if it makes you happy go ahead. Just remember piercings you can remove tho some can make you paralysed and cause infections. Tattoos afre permanent unless you want to have them removed by lazer surgery then your left with scars. And if that is so dont let any one tell you that god has punished you for commiting a sin load of hog wash. Just remember to some people eating chocolate is a sin, wearing bikinis is a sin, holding hands kissing in public is a sin. Well i must sin a lot and so must half the world (lol). Its what you believe but there is no written law that says its a sin and you cant go to gaol for having tatts or piercings. People that say its a sin need to grow and get a life.

It depends on your personal belief system. Many people stray from the religious beliefs that they were force-fed as children.
This body was created by nature, and it is wholly owned by you - unless you're under 18 and live at home. The spirit that moves the body was created by Him (take your pic as to which Him I refer to). Tattoos and piercings *can* have a spiritual attachment to them. Tattoos especially - they are much more permanent.
Many energy workers (Reiki) believe that piercings can block your energy channels. My tongue & ears are pierced, and I *do* have some blockages, but they are minor. Blockages can be cleared up with the right Reiki work.
God/Goddess/All That Is will not love you less because you decide to decorate your temple (body). They also will not (generally) be offended by spiritually symbolic tattoos. I've known many people who take their faith seriously (Catholics, especially) - who have religious artwork adorning their body (and other artwork as well).
Just make sure that the tattoo you get is something you want, and be sure to research and interview your tattoo artist. Tattoos can be removed, but it costs 10 times as much as the tattoo did, and from what I've heard - hurts 100 times as bad.
No, it's not a sin, and you should not have guilt for displaying something you are passionate about. Remember, this body is yours, and it's only temporary - your soul is forever.

NO, not really....Who cares. It is your body and if you are old enough to sign the permission go for it!
You may be sorry when you are older, and trying to get that executive position after you graduated business school.
Perhaps certain religious or Cultural customs forbid it, but sinful? ....
If they think this is a sin what about breast implants, plastic surgery? (:-)

Well I don't think it will send you to hell or anything like that. But the Bible does tell us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, I don't think we should defile them that way as far as it being a sin that is between you and God. I mean if you fell convicted over it them I would say don't do it. I don't think it is pleasing to God.

it is decoration.
is it a sin to wear bright colours, or dye your hair, or wear earrings? For some Christian sects in the past (and maybe some in the present) YES. So it depends on how ascetic is the sect you belong to.

I think that some religions say it is. Heck, some of them don't even allow you to cut your hair.
I don't think it's a sin though, and I don't think many people do.

It was brought up in the Bible, but under the context of cultures that did these things to show their belief in other religions. I don't think you would be judged to harshly by God for that, but your employer may find it distasteful.

A sin is something that separates you from God. So if it causes a separation between you and God then it is for you. If not, no worries.
