why hire them, arrest the ones over here illegally, put them in a chain gang and force them to build it . After Mexicans get a taste of hard work,then they think twice about coming back here .

They did that bit on the Comedy Channel once--who can we get to work in the hot sun and build a 2000 mile wall? Yeah, hire Mexicans to build it. Brilliant. Then who does Mr. Republican in my neighborhood hire to build his retaining wall and cut his lawn and look after his 87 year old dad or his 4 year old granddaughter? Or who does Mr. Agribusiness hire at $5 an hour to pick the tomatoes you eat? Cool, send em back. Yeah, lets start paying $10 a pound for tomatoes.

Mexicans and most other immigrants from Latin America (and all over the world) do the work that most Americans are not willing to do, and for less money may I add. Also, immigrants come to this country because their families are starving, because they are persecuted by their goverments, or because they have lost everything in natural disasters among other things.

No dumb a** that is the problem with them coming in the are taking american jobs that defeats the purpose. We need military force on the border this is an invasion of our country are we are just letting it happen...this is not a matter of racisim they are illegaly coming into our country ILLEGAL for those of you that cannot figure it out that means against the law!

Why would Mexicans build it? To keep their families from coming over? I think not. Unless they designed a way to sneak through when the gringos are napping in their INS trucks.

Maybe it would work, but look at the numbers that die crossing the deserts in places like AZ and TX. You could probably sell tickets to see desperate souls being catapulted over to their deaths. A lot like ancient Rome.

i'm all for that. i have no problem with mexicans coming over here to better themselves. but the ones that come over here illegally and work and don't have to pay taxes should have their legs cut off and their tongue pulled out with pliers
