You can do a great price comparison search with these sites:

www.kayak.com, www.cheaptickets.com, www.qixo.com, www.cheapflights.com, www.mobissimo.com, www.farechase.com, www.sidestep.com, www.globester.com, www.cheaptravelnetwork.com, www.travelocity.com, www.orbitz.com, www.priceline.com, www.expedia.com, www.hotwire.com

p-in-p is right on. Jet Blue is the best, and I would even add one other note about them. EVERY Jet Blue employee I have ever interacted with acted in a very cheerful and professional fashion. I'm on the road a lot, and I end up in some lousy situations with last minute changes, etc., but the JEt Blue folks have always handled things perfectly.

Naturally it depends on your destination. Not all airlines fly everywhere.Check out Expedia.com and you'll find the lowest fare to where you want to go.

Folks -- there is no Southwest service in CLT only in RDU.
There is no Jet Blue in Charlotte either. RDU only.

If you get stuck call a travel agent or try www.carlsontravel.com

We've always ended up finding Southwest to be about the best price.

have you tried Travelocity or Expedia? I also had a good experience with Priceline, which I was hesitant to use. Saved about 250.00 dollars from Chicago to Orlando

Northwest Airlines. Try going to Travelocity.com see what you can find. I warn you though Northwest makes you pay for certain snacks and food.

Southwest is usually the best, and usually on time.
JetBlue I hear great things about, but haven't flown them yet.
