Don't listen to people who those people who are saying gaining weight will be a problem for you. I've read your blog and for your height you are way underweight.

At the very least you should be 120lbs (small frame) and at the most 160lbs (large frame).

As someone who also had this problem (and is the same height as you) my doctor STRONGLY recommened that I gain weight and when I do, not to fall below 130lbs.

Many people don't realize the harm they are doing to thier bodies by being unerweight. The most common problems are:

- high risk of Osteoprosis
- high risk of Inflammatory Bowel Disease
- high risk of Cancer
- Decreased muscle strenghth
- difficulty regulating body tempuratue
- higher risk of infections

Now what can you do about it? Don't eat junk food to gain weight. The extra weight will be fat not muscle, muscle not only weighs more than fat it is also much more healthy.

The best way is weight training and protein from whey. I've attached a good site for some weight training excersises that some celebrities do like, Halle Berry, Hillary Swank, Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé Knowles.

The fastest way to gain weight is to add protien shakes in the morning and again in the evening to help with muscle growth and work hard on your thigh muscles they weigh the most.

Don't let weight training intimate or scare you, you won't develop a bulky muscular figure like the body builders do, your frame is too thin right now and it would take you decades to gain that kind of muscle.

You will only become more toned, stronger and healthier.

Eat carb shakes and lift weights. Building muscle is the fastest and best way to gain weight. However if you want a look that is slim and sleek rather than bulky...add the cardio. Do Cardio 4 days a week and weights everyother day. Alternate, with certain weightlifting exercise...like upperbody one day, legs another, and arms and back another. Good luck. Also eat and drink very healthy. Make a meal plan.

The operative word here is FAST.The only way is to eat a lot, but in the long run that's not healthy. So find a professional and they would guide you as to how. Live long enough you will get there we all did eventually (smile).

Dont know the best way to get there but I do know it is the worst thing you could try to do. Abusing your body like that is (A) likely to carry you beyond that weight and give you a weight control problem. (B) have medical severe consequences later in life.

Get some medical advice before you do yourself harm.
