I know exactly what you mean, girl. That's some misery right there! When my scalp would itch after a braiding I would take them out of the ponytail and let them get air. And then I would either spritz my scalp with water or put a little hair food on my scalp. The worst thing to do is scratch them because that makes them look old a lot faster. Maybe after a week or so you can shampoo (lightly) and get rid of the itches that way.

Good luck :)

you don't have lice...the hair that you used to braid your hair is not agreeing with your scalp ...i had this promblem before -it took a few weeks before the itching stopped.....i used dr. miracles super strength braid spray and it work for me......

try washing it every two weeks.. dont use a lot of oil sheen n braid spray n stuff like that.. use a basic hair oil once a day and that should help.. and also try a different shampoo

well when you get braids the like pull the hair so tight that it irritates the scalp from pressure.

I dunno, I've noticed that when my hair itches it's because it's too tight or some kind of bump developed but there could be other reasons..sorry Im no help.
