it could be because of the heat, I have two dogs and they are normally full of energy, but during the really bad parts of the day during summer they are lethargic (I know I didn't spell that right).
Most people when it gets hot enough will become lethargic, same goes for dogs, but they also have fur to worry about so this doesn't help matters. If your dog can be shaved, then shave them, this will help them greatly.

Very normal, especially in the hot weather. As long as the dog shows some interest in going out for a walk, run, etc., then it sounds pretty normal.

my dog is a staffordshire bull terrier cross and he is the same. as soon as I take him for a walk he is full of energy. As long as this isn't a new habit and you make sure your dog still gets plenty of exercise I wouldn't worry
