He is a good guy. But he always does what he wants over what I want. Always. When is the time, he goes, I want to do something for her that I dont' really want to do because I love her!!!!!

Um, yes.... to a degree. if hes so selfish that he doesnt care about anyone but himself then GET OUT NOW! if its just a small issue he is having with a few things, i think everyone is selfish about something from time to time. Honestly, without knowing the guy and his attitude, only you can answer this!

You answered your own question. Of course, it is a bad idea. It lets him know that it is ok to be selfish, because he can get dates with a swell girl anyway. Tell him to come back when he learns to see beyond his own nose. And then cut him loose. You deserve a guy who thinks you are special.

if U know he is SELFISH why r u asking ?.
selfish guys r selfish they love themselves alot alot alot.... they think about them selves all the time...and they think the world turns around them and they might talk all the time about themselves and i dont think they know what lessening and caring is ...
but if u want to give it a try and to check this guy out go for it but put in ur mind if he annoys u or is bad by anyway ..u will not live withhim for ever..

Yes, because he will always put his needs before yours , and if you was to marry him and have children, he would do the same to the children. Selfish people have no respect for others.

If you are just as selfish maybe it will work. Both of you will just have to fight to get what you want.
In my opinion its much better to be with someone who shares. Establish it early. Does he give you the best food when say two ears of corn are not the same?
Its way more important to get someone who shares easily than someone who is rich.

Yes because if you know that he is selfish why would you want to date him.His selfishness won't stop when he dates you,it will only complicate things that much more.If he isn't a giving person,don't waste your time on him.You deserve soooooo much better than that.Don't you??????

Selfishness is not a trait you can change. You may see a temorary improvement from time to time, but he will always lapse into his old me-me-me self. It's who he is. You deserve better.

It's not bad if you don't mind it. Just know that he'll put himself, his needs, his friends, and his family before you in all situations. If you're ok with that then it's not bad. If you aren't than it can be very destructive and unhealthy for you. You'll give and give until he has taken everything you have to offer.

the answer is "YES"..
but, a good guy some times is selfish.. and everybody is ready to change if he/she finds some one who's worth it..
If you like him that much.. you can change him.., for me, a woman's love can do that..
