I stuck my finger in one of those make up pencil sharpeners when I was little and it cut half my nail off.

Well first you will have the skin removed. Then it will eat away at your flesh while you see it go down into the box with the other shavings. Then it hits your bone and you will most likely pull your finger out.

Definitely.

you'll have layers of skin torn off before you even realize what's going on. Just think how easily it shreds apart wood pencils, and compare that to your soft, delicate skin.
