They're 1/2 right. With a friend, it doesn't really matter who initiates the contact as long as both of you want to be friends with each other. But if you're interested in a guy, you want him to pursue you. Men do like the chase and when you roll over and make it easy for them to get you and give them everything right up front, well, then there's nothing for them to pursue. It sounds a little old-fashioned, but if you like a guy and you think things could go further into relationship-land, you want to get him to call you and ask you out for a date. I actually emailed my boyfriend first (we met online) because he was in one of my groups and I wasn't even thinking of dating him, I just saw that he liked the same things and thought I'd made a new friend. But he'd flirt, and I would slightly flirt back until he asked me for my phone number. And he called. And he still does most of the calling now, though since we've been together a while, I can certainly call him without fear of him thinking I'm clingy or anything. You don't say how old you or your friends are, but I'm guessing you don't have quite as much experience dating as grandma or your mom had. Good luck!

Your going to listen to your younger friends over your grandmother and mother ?? What do the young girls know anyway ? Most of them are making that same mistake. Your family is right. Men HAVE to work for you or else they will use and abuse you. If it comes too easy to them they dont want it. Treat a guy like sh*t and he will continue to come back for more. Call him first or show interest first and he will play you. That's just the way it is.

Run away. appears like a participant. He would not fairly want a lengthy time period courting, he purely needs to apply that as a line so as that he can get a lady into mattress. locate somebody else that is extra perfect and easily should be with you. He would not be looking for someone else if he fairly did love you. He ought to love you, yet extra like a chum sort. tell him that on the grounds that he's attempting to bypass out with different females, you're going to attempt to bypass out with different adult men. He ought to get mad yet he should not be attempting as a lot as now you and yet another human being.

There's nothing wrong with taking the initiative, but let him take part of the reins. Sometimes our flirting isn't enough and we have to take that step. It's a good way to let them know your interested, but don't over do it

Dear... You know what.. Most guys will not take the iniative, so please do.. The worse that can happen is that they say no, which I dont' see happening...
To be honest, it is better you say it because later in life when the oppourtunity passes you will find out that they did like you... Unfortunateally, it happends more often that you would think...
