I have some iced tea powder which has turned into a solid lump. Brown sugar used to be this way but something must have been added to the mix to keep it soft. Also problems also with garlic/onion powders or granulated. Rice grains don't seem to be effective.

Terra cotta works well at absorbing moisture. At most cooking supply stores you can find little bear shaped pieces of terra cotta or you can buy a pot and break it (after washing, of course). Use the size chunk that will fit into the container.
Also, make sure that you aren't adding the spices directly from the jar/container they are stored in. Steam from the food will cake-up the spice.

Anything in a shaker bottle you can put some rice in to keep it shaken. The ice tea can be dissolved in a small amount of boilng water and then add cool water and ice. Try storing the entire can in a zip lock bag or pour the contents of the can into a tupperware conatiner. They make smaller tupperware containers for spices that will also help.

Put in a teaspoon of dry WHITE rice, or put baking soda in sealed cloth pouch in the container. The rice and/or baking soda SHOULD BE CHANGED every 3 months.
