A cocktail is a generic name for a mixed drink.
A margarita is a type of cocktail.
It's like the difference between a "dog" and a "Collie".

As far as the flowers are concerned, the Margarita looks more realistic than the Love Potion.

All cocktails are not necessarily margaritas.
