I've been to Alberta, but not Alberto... though a great mexican restaurant near my house is called Alberto's.

Alberta is one province, sort of like we have states in the US. Edmonton has a huge mall and its nice when its not cold. The winters are cold... but you can sure catch a great hockey game if the Oilers are in town!

Not too far away is Calgary, home to one of the winter Olympics and the backdrop to one of the superman films. Nice city, spent a few days here when I went to see the (Mighty) Ducks play the Calgary Flames in the Saddledome.

In the summertime, there is a huge rodeo called the Calgary Stampede. Alberta is known for their cattle and the Alberta Beef is terrific. The best steak I had was in Calgary, come to think of it.

There's a lot of things to do in Alberta... but I go for hockey!

Do you mean Alberta, Canada? Alberta is a huge province, and takes in a lot of territory. Everything from Banff and the Columbia ice fields in the Rocky Mountains, to Edmonton and Calgary, home of the world-famous Calgary Stampede and the Oktoberfest. It's an easy province to explore, and one you would enjoy greatly.

Um, first off it's Alberta. And yes, I live here. It's wonderful, lot's of tourist places to visit, great shopping, Calgary is a great location to see movie stars during filming season. It's a little chilly in the winter, but usually only in December and January.
