Well, assuming that's true, and I have no doubt that it is, it would be easy access from Baja California, California's reputation as having a wonderful climate and lifestyle freedom, and the fact that there's a lot of economic activity hence some optimism about becoming employed there.

It makes sense to me. It is the most glorified state in the USA due to Hollywood's influence. The weather is pretty nice too.

I don't know. But if you are refering to illegal immigrants, I sure wish they'd stop.

First stop. They help more-that is why they have money problems-hospital closings-high taxes. No control, -the results are not good-if you don't control things.

They probably have family there. And California is very illegal friendly.
