Some men like to have a replacement mommy to take care of them and do their laundry, cook, clean, etc. after them. If their momma took care of everything, they are more apt to expect you to do it too.
Resist. You don't need a child you have to cater to!

I have never seen this to be the case. I'll bet alot of women will write in and say, "Wow! Where ARE these guys?" or" I sure wish MY guy was dependent on ME." In my experience, I think you have found a compatible mate when there is a HEALTHY amount of dependency....not SSSOOOOO much that the other person can't breathe, or SO little that he makes his partner feel unneeded.

Its just how it goes...some could go on to say the 'role reversal' where the men take a less confident approach and let the women take the driving seat is part of their relationship, it can also be ebcause the man is trying not to be dominant with his girlfriend and let her take part in decisions that affect them both, as men are constantly told they are too controlling.
Either way, some women do same to naturally lead, so I dont think theres anything really wrong with that. Regards,

Because us men are lazy. And anything they dont have to do is OK with them. Look, he probably feels like a scrub deep down. What you need to do is bring that to light. Tell him that he needs to stop depending on you, and that you can't possibly feel secure in a relationship with him as a man if he depends on you. CHALLENGE A MAN'S BALLS AND HE'LL MOVE THE WORLD. lol :-)

heres the probelm with ur ? girls are dependent on guys cuz they want them to do most of the ****.......what happens when u dont have him anymore,who are u going to be dependent about,u should start working things out with ur bf like u a team and not like a slave serving a queen.....

funny things is, the same guy, if he was dependent on a girl who liked him being around and being there for here and being with here alot, this "dependency" would be termed "dedication"
In your case you don't like it, so he's dependent and its bad.

coz they feel insecure of their place in your life. They are scared that they aren't good enough and that you might run off with their best mate. Humiliating and heart breaking. They are worried that if they aren't with you, somebody else may be. If you need more space, explain nicely and make sure he knows he is a big part of your life and you are still keen. This way he is less worried and you can have some free time.

A better more accurate question is why are some people so dependant on other people. Gender is irrelevant.
