by many people on this site? Does it worry or frighten you? It does me. I had no idea it was this bad... and, please, I am not saying that there's no hatred toward Christians...just that it seems more intense when directed at Jews.

to be honest it bothers me sometimes but I try not to take those people seriously.

you have to face the fact that anti-Semitism is one of those things that defy logic.

let me share this quote with you

Professor Michael Curtis of Rutgers University:

"Everybody has a people that they hate; a group you don't like, that are threatening you. But the uniqueness of anti-Semitism lies in the fact that no other people in the world have been charged simultaneously with alienation from society and with cosmopolitanism; with being capitalist exploiters and also revolutionary communists; with having a materialistic mentality or being a people of the book. We are accused of being both militant aggressors and cowardly pacifists; adherents to a superstitious religion and agents of modernism. We uphold a rigid law and are also morally decadent. We have a chosen people mentality and an inferior human nature; we are both arrogant and timid; individualist and communally adherent; we are guilty of both the crucifixion of Jesus to Christians and to others we are held to account for the invention of Christianity. Everything and its opposite becomes an explanation for anti-Semitism."

I've seen more hate on Yahoo directed toward Christians and Muslims than Jews. All of it is very disheartening. Jews seem to be a political bellwether. In times of extreme political crises, people use the Jews as scapegoats.

Peace on earth is the goal of every Jew, yet there are people who blame the Jews for everything that's happening in the Middle East.

Shalom my friend

Well, I'm christian and I have the upmost respect for Jews, the chosen people thing. I do believe in that, because God might have been angry at the Jews, but He always keeps His promises, and He made promises to the Jews. So, don't lump all of us in one category, we don't all hate Jews. The bible also tells us not to go against Israel, which is one reason we haven't so far, though gotta admit, right now Israel is making it pretty difficult.

Also, in case you didn't know, christians don't believe that in end times the Jews will all be killed. What the bible actually says is that the Jews hearts were hardened to Jesus being the messiah, but will be softened during that time, and they will join us. I keep hearing how the Jews think we're waiting for them to all kick the bucket, so wanted to clarify that. It not the death of the Jews were waiting for, but for them to believe. I know right now that may seem really lame to you, but that's the story.

I am Jewish and I encounter anti-semitism everywhere. We have been persecuted for thousands of years for no reason other than Jealousy. Am I concerned? A little - but it doesn't help.

Am I surprised? Not at all. We come to expect it and are used to it. Of course it is very insulting, rude, and hurtful but as long as it remains a thought i am not worried. The problem is when they start to act on these thoughts.

And here I was observing a great deal of hate steaming from Jews to everyone else. Maybe this is a vicious cycle. Someone should think about stopping it.

I'm rarely concerned about hatred towards me on a computer. I know that I am a hated minority in this world and I'm used to it. Via the computer is just a symptom, and one which empowers cowards to hide behind virtual anonymity and spout off...whatever.

I guess the rationalization why the "Christians" are attacking them because those "Christians are making use of their made up variety of religion hostile to the guy-made faith of the Muslims. If those so observed as "Christians" are attacking, then that signifies that those human beings are literally not christians because they do no longer have Jesus of their lives. God brings love and peace no longer warfare and hatred. The purpose of a Christian is to attempt to impact others with God's like to attempt to spread the forged information, now to not kill and attack those who arent Christians.

I may not be a Jew myself, but I'm behind your right to freedom all the way. If you're being threatened, harassed, or otherwise intimidated, report those who are doing it to you. I know I report them wherever I find them.
