can i be one without a driver's license? how much would it cost?

Yes..
No requirment for a drivers license.
Count on about $7,000 - $9,000 for a Private. Less if you consider the Recreational License.
If your looking at a career...you should consider about $25,000 for a multiengine IFR Commercial License.
At least from any decent reputable school.

Yes you can have a pilots licence if you don't have a drivers license, depends on what you want to do?, private or commercial? private doesn't cost much, but commercial sure does, private pilots license (ppl)can be achieved for about $10000 or less, depends on how much you fly (once a week or more) if you take less flights a week the costs go up usually because you can easily forget a few little things then have to do some of the last flight over to remember how it was done

It depends on where you live, but generally yes you can be a pilot without a drivers licence. If however you have lost your driver's licence due to a violation like DUI, you will also lose your pilot's licence. To become a pilot privately all you need is money and a good flying school. Costs vary from country to country but I would say for a private licence you will be looking at about seven thousand dollars.

Go to a small airport and you will find someone who gives flying lessons. It will probably cost you at least 45 to 50 dollars and hour. You'll need 10 hrs of instruction b/4 you solo (fly by yourself). No driver's licence needed. All you have to be able to do is reach the pedals. You will need a physical, so don't be on anything you shouldn't be on...GOOD LUCK
