I've been to Turkey. I didn't spend much time on the beaches though (I'm pasty and I burn easy), but it's on the Agean just miles from Greece, so I'm sure they are great. The Turkish people are so nice, though I had a better time in small towns than in Istanbul. Istanbul is beautiful, The Aya Sofia, Topkapi, The Sultanahmet Mosque (a.k.a. Blue Mosque), go there, but there is a lot of avarice in Istanbul that you won't find other places. For example the Bazaar in Bursa is very nice, not the size of the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, but no one hustles you constantly as you walk through it, you can enjoy it more. Selcuk and Epheses are great too (if you go to the Rose Bar In Selcuk tell them Dean from San Francisco said hi).

You're kinda 50% Turkish? Meaning you're 33.3e+100% Turkish?
Hehe..
I hear things in Turkey are quite cheap compared to England stuff..like houses and so on..
My next door neighbour is moving there soon, he's there right now but returning for a short period of time, then going back..
Sounds like a nice place though.

I've seen the Turkish coastline from the Greek Islands.
Had no desire to go though, had too much fun in Greece.
When in Turkey, try to get to one or two of the Greek Islands.
You are so close, it would be a shame not to go.
You will enjoy many nice beaches and super good nightlife.

Yes, I've been to Istanbul. It was interesting to see it.
I've heard that beaches are nice in Turkey, not just on the south coast but on the north coast next to the Black Sea too. I haven't been to the Turkish beaches myself though.

They are nice. Go see Turkey and the rest of the world. And go see Greece and understand why these two countries have fought and how they cannot afford to anymore.

Absolutely positively amazing. Great people. very friendly. Shopping is great, food is great. Nightlife is out of this world. Bodrum, Cesme, Istanbul nightlife is another Ibiza. And the beaches my god. Fethiye and Cesme were splendid. totally recommend it.

If you want to spend your time in the beach go south. It is better in september otherwise it is too hot.
