if you get a mosquito bite and it scabs and you scratch it more .. can you develop a hole sort of in your skin

i always scratch my mosquito bites and then pick at them lol is that really bad?

It might scar. Rub an anti-itch lotion on your mosquito bite before you start to bleed and scab.

It can leave a scar......my sons does the same thing, and his legs are full of scars from mosquito bites that he refused to leave alone. Its just a habit you've picked up....try not to pick at them. If they itch, dab at them with a damp washcloth, and avoid scratching off the scab, because your body is trying to heal the sore.

If you keep scratching and pierce the epidermis (the outer layer of skin) you will infect the inner layer. Hard to make a hole since the skin is very dense, but it will leave a scar, and open skin tissue is vulnerable to all kinds of infection.

You can also get blood infection if you scratch through your skin and whatever is on your fingers or fingernails gets into your blood stream

Yes.You could be allergic to mozzy bites.Everybody is but in different levels.You could also worsen the problem with your picking at the scabs.I can guarantee that your hand and nails are not always sterile when you do that and that could cause additional infection of the bites

lol, I asked if everyone theory that scratching mosquito bites "felt kinda good" as quickly as...and human beings advised me that i replaced into unwell and twisted and mandatory to get my head examined. i'm afraid to work out what solutions you get as a results of fact which you think of it feels slightly greater effective than "kinda good" lol

I have done it all my life and I am 36 I don't have a single scar from that but than again your immunity system could be much more different than mine
