I do, but ofcourse since people can't fly, it can be played on ice. And it could have beaters using medicine balls. The chasers and keepers can be like they are but instead of three goals use one. Oh yeah.. it has to be full contact too under rules like rugby. They only thing i can't figure out is how would it incorporate the seeker and the snitch. A motorized superball maybe???
Hey I was bored.. any comments would be welcome.

In lieu of flying vehicles, you could use bungee cords or do it at an indoor skydiving place. For the Quaffle you could use one of those big red rubber balls they use to play kickball with. Since there are no enchanted Bludgers that would automatically fly after people, you could have third parties stand on the side and throw balls at people to try and knock them down.
For the Snitch, you could use one of those remote-controlled frisbies.

I would love it!!! We might have to accommodate the lows of physics as far as the snitch goes....A motorized superball would be cool if someone could invent something like that...you know you don't even have to play it on ice.....let's say a soccerfeild with three basketball-like hoops and a rugby theme like you said. That still doesn't work in the snitch...and that's the best part of the game...keep brainstorming..it's a great idea!!!!

That snitch thing makes the rest of the game pretty meaningless from the few matches I've seen on the movies. It is worth so many more points than the goals that I don't understand why everyone on one team doesn't just take out the other team's seeker and grab the snitch in the first minute of the game and skip all the useless goal scoring.

I have rarely sat through a movie I have enjoyed less than the original Harry Potter film and when asked why by my wife I pointed to that game.
Think about it for the moment. If you get the little flying ball that Harry Potter is chasing you win. Accordingly, all of the other activity in the game is irrelevant. You send all of your guys after that ball.
If the author was going to think up a new game, however improbable, at least the basic rules should have made sense. They do not, and accordingly it does not seem to me to be much of a game.
