I know that a caravan is not the best mini van in the world but we have one and its gets 19 miles city and 26 highway. The one we have a a 4 cylinder, and the only thing I don't like is the sound of the engine when I am driving it becuase it's to loud, but when my mom drives it and I sit and listen it sounds fine. I think that only happends becuase I am driving a pontiac grand am with a 3.4 engine so when a I drive a 2.4 it's a slower starter. You can get a new caravan for about 14,000 on sale otherwise they are around 18,000. If you have cash to pay for it, like we did, you can get it for 12,500 on sale.also when the car gets older and needs new parts they are cheaper then for a honda.

better to buy a used odyssey or siena than a new caravan. Consider renting one for a weekend and see how you like it.....it is better pay $100 for a rental than $20,000+ for a van you do not like
