A mercenary is a soldier who fights, or engages in warfare primarily for private gain, usually with little regard for ideological, national or political considerations. However, when the term is used to refer to a soldier in a regular national army, it is usually considered an insult, epithet or pejorative.

The US has some mercenary groups like Blackwater and even Triple Canopy. But you can only go to them if you are prior military and not just some POAG, you'd have to be prior Paratrooper, PJ, Marine Force Recon, Force Recon, Delta Force, Green Beret (special forces), SEAL (sea air and land), or even Devgru. They take highspeed individuals only, not some sap who sat in an office and typed up memo's and thought he/she was gods gift to earth. They want the quiet professionals, that is what you must strive for.
