This sounds like the ever growin popularity of a mama's boy int the making. When mother finally gets tired of fhis crap,or leaves this world he will then become a menace in some young womans life. This is inevitable because his mother is teaching him that he should be able to do what he wants when he wants, and that someone else should take care of him.It is so sad that the world is seeing so many more of theses kinds of parents and children. It's partially due to babies having babies. They think that getting pregnant and delivering a child is it,when it is only the tip of the iceberg.A real caring parents work is never done.We have a duty to teach our children to become strong, independent adults. And we also have to teach our daughters to not accept this behavior from their male counterparts. My father taught us every chance he got,and now that we are all in our 30's and 40's,he continuest to share whatever he learns with us to insure that we are not caught with our pants down(so to speak).I love him and will be forever grateful to him for that, and the more I look at the youth of today, the more thankful I become.

That sounds like a terrible situation. You should talk to his mother. She is enabling him to be lazy. Is she afraid of him? Maybe she thinks if she's really nice he will do the same. But tough love is the answer. He needs to be forced to work. Not taken care of like a baby. Soon he will be in his 20's and he will need to find a job. No woman wants a man who can't take care of himself. Good Luck!

Is he an only child? I dated a guy just like that, with a mother just like that, and it drove me nuts. She spoiled him all the time and backed him up when he would do something wrong. He was her only kid and that's why...but spoiling you're kid is not the way. He can't hold down a job and never will because his mom let him get away with it.

The father might as well make plans to never retire. His wife has a problem cutting this son loose from her umbilical cord and hubby goes right along with it.

It sounds to me that the Mother and the son both need to get lives...the Father should put a stop to the Mother's expenditures and the son's assine behaviors....

if he's not in school he should be working in order to stay in the house. and the rest of the stuff-it's the mom's fault he turned out like this. if she continues doing all this, of course he'll be lazy and spoiled, who wouldn't?!
