You could just be doing the old "days of the month" thing starting at October 31, November 30, December 31, January 31 where the next would be Feb 28 or 29 (leap year) then 31, 30, 31, 30, 31, 31, 30
so in full 31, 30, 31, 31, 28, 31, 30, 31, 30, 31, 31, 30
or
31, 30, 31, 31, 29, 31, 30, 31, 30, 31, 31, 30
if it's a leap year.
