Horse

To see a horse in your dream, represents a strong, physical energy. You need to tame the wild forces. The dream may imply that you have been horsing around. Or perhaps you need to be less arrogant and "get off your high horse".

To see a black or dark horse in your dream, signifies mystery, wildness, and the unknown. You may be taking a chance or gamble at some unknown area. It may even represents occult forces. If the horse is white, then it signifies purity, prosperity and good fortunes. To dream that you are being chased by a white horse, may be a pun on chaste. Perhaps you are having difficulties dealing with issues of intimacy and sexuality.

To see a dead horse in your dream, indicates that something in your life that initially offered you strength is now gone. This may refer to a relationship or situation.

To see a herd of wild horses in your dream, signifies a sense of freedom and lack of responsibilities/duties. Perhaps it may also indicated your uncontrolled emotions.

To dream that you are riding a horse, denotes that you will achieve success through underhanded means. You lack integrity. If you are riding a horse that is out of control, signifies that you are being carried away by your passions.

To see an armored or medieval horse in your dream, refers to your fierceness, aggression, power and/or rigidity. You may be seen as too confrontational. Alternatively, you may be trying to protect yourself from unconscious material or sexual desires that is emerging.

To dream that you are bathing a horse, represents a renewal of strength and vigor. You are experiencing a burst of energy in some aspect of your life.

This is in no way necessarily an explanation for your particular dream, but it does open up some interesting ideas, and maybe you could link it to your life in some way =)

I have a dream book too. Seeing horses in a dream predists a period of all-around ease. If it was fear of the horse, it signifies worry over the loss or misplacement of an important document or article of value. To dream of riding { or sitting on } a horse indicates a coming rise in status, but if you were thrown { or fell off } you will have to cope with a rival who is out to thwart you. A bucking horse is an augury of unexpected resistance to some current plan. To be kicked by a horse is a warning against complacency. A dream of horses fighting is a forerunner to disturbing news concerning a friend. To dream of a horse being shod is an omen of unexpected money. Trading horses is a warning of deceit by someone you trust. Cleaning or grooming a horse foretells a lucky speculation.Advantageous news is forecast in a dream of seeing a foal.Galloping or racing horses predict swift success. Hope that answers your questioin.

it depends on what they mean to you in your waking state. do you have a fear of or love horses or do you always wanted to have one or ride one. those dream books suck not everyone will have te same meaning for specific objects. what are the horses doing or not doing do they look mean or peaceful/happy content? are they running free or in a barn stable etc? ya know usually the fery first FEELING not thought that you are having but feeling when you awaken and remember is the true meaning but if that doesnt work put yourself in the place of the horses and than you will get an answer. do you feel trapped and someones always on your back and your wanting to run free for awhile at least etc. you'll get it eventually. when you go to bed tonight ask that you get an answer to what that dream really meant etc and go to sleep thinking of that dream youl most likely wake with a conclusion or something to add. can be FUN!!

Well this is what my dream dictionary book says:

A horse may offer its power to the dreamer as a vehicle for moving forward in life. Horse brings the attribute of strength to deliever you to your destination. For the hero, the horse carries him to his mission, perhaps over long distances, and theus it may signify the need to travel. A wild horse can represent unleashed and untamed power. Horses may also trot into your dream to indicate the need to stand your ground in a power struggle.

Dreams can't be interpreted by anyone but yourself truly. Freud and Jung were making generalizations. You have to take into account your past and present and look at it yourself. The generalization however is freedom and the need to escape. Strength and power are also associated with horses.

what were the horses doing? And what do YOU think the horses signify? The best interpreter of your dream images is yourself.

And I love your screen name, BTW.
