No funding for fence?

Well, it seems our beloved Senators don't believer there is enough money in the budget to build a fence ... was just voted down in the Senate ... obviously there isn't enough money in the kitty to protect Americans ... but plenty to wage an illegal war in Iraq ... this from a government who has cut the funding for Homeland Security ... who thinks this administration really does give a fig for what you, American citizen, wants??

Oh yes, forgot ... they also shot down getting 800 extra inspectors to check the companies that hire illegal aliens ... no money for that either ... isn't it such a shame we're such an impoverished nation ....

Why am I not surprised???? I have a different view on the war than you, but I get your point, if they would not give out any type of state aid to illegals then they would have enough money to secure our borders.

If you are refering to the New York fuinds you should do a little more research before commenting as to not make yourself look ignorant. New Yorks funds were not CUT. Last year they were given an EXCESS ammount to make up for prior years shorting. The ammount they were bugeted this year was the amount they were supposed to be given last year but good ole uncle sam gave them a lil extra. As for the fence I agree that more funds should be put to it but not from Iraq. Try taking the money from the good for nothing welfare mommas.

Flat out lies! I hate our government. I am using the word HATE here. Why do they insult us with these bald faced lies?!!! Do they think we are all stupid? Bush is stupid, we are not.

I like Machiko's answer. They had enough funds to give their worthless asses a raise. Then then have the gall to turn down minimum wage getting increased!!! And people don't think our government is corrupt?!!!

They don't want something that will last beyond the next time they just decide not to continue funding. Then they will turn around and say we have our border security and should let in their unlimited slave labor to further drain and crowd our underfunded overcrowded schools, etc.
