does anyone know about the camp interlochen i ninterlochen michigan?? the singing and acting camp!?!?!?

Interlochen Arts Camp offers both vocal and theatre summer programs for students in grades 6-12. Students are divided into two divisions: Intermediates (grades 6-9) and High School (9-12). You can study repertory theatre or musical theatre, in 3- or 6-week formats. The audition process is competitive, but we're looking for potential and motivation, not perfection. You can apply for Camp 2007 starting this fall, and financial aid is available. You can learn more at http://www.interlochen.org/camp/
Interlochen also has an academic year fine arts boarding school, called the Interlochen Arts Academy. That's for grades 9-12, and it also offers a Theatre major. The Academy web site is here: http://www.interlochen.org/academy/

yeah, I went there last summer for the two week session in July. it was pretty fun, but, since it was only my second sleep-away camp ever (and the longest one I had done) I really missed my parents and didn't have the greatest of times. however, it was pretty fun. but, the food STINKS. (they have a great snack shop and ice cream store though.) i did acting, art, and i practiced the cello. it was pretty fun. so, if you like performing arts, i would suggest it!

Oh yeah- I actually got an application and everything but i couldn't afford to go. Too bad. B/c alot of great musicians that are famous have attended that awesome school. It's up there with Juilliard. Oh yeah!!!!- Both great schools!
