Honey, stop avoinding the issue and go see a professional. Highlights are not as expesive as you might think and I guarantee that you will be thrilled with the results. If you insist on doing your own hair you will find that you will not get the wanted results and you may even fry your hair. Colour is very serious business, especially if you are talking highlights.
