It is a hard question ! It's OK to feel it, but it's not to believe it
I think that the question should be.. "How do I like my father?".
We don't know your father as we can't see things from your point of view. But I'm sure that it's not normal and you should try, through hard to get closer to him and touch the hidden spots in his heart. Who knows, you may change him a different person that everybody loves.

Lots of people don't like their fathers- due to abuse and divorce...
It depends on your individual situation.
Do you hate him because he hits you or because you don't like that he told you No, you can't go to the mall.
Just think about it- if he cares about you and wants to spend time with you- you only get one dad and he won't be on this earth forever.

its a part of growing up, its just a stage and if its just general dislike and nothing weird going on you will mature and come to realize your dad is just another human being just like you trying to make it in this world but unlike you he has a ton more responsibility and pressure on him....no wonder he's hard to like sometimes he's probably too stressed out to relax or have any fun!
