no matter how high they would throw you, they would always catch you? And no matter what mom said, you always would make that couch tent. And how his hand always consumed your hand?

You just made my tears come. Thank you for reminding me of all the wonderful ways my daddy made me feel special. He died when I was 12 and I still miss him horribly. I'm 55. I remember how big and strong he was and how understanding. He never lied to me. If he couldn't answer a question I had then we would "look it up". He made everyone else stay out of the kitchen every Sunday morning because he was going to cook a surprise breakfast. It was always waffles. Thank you so much for your question. You are very special and I hope you can keep this wonderful aspect of yourself forever.

What you are talking about is part of what love and trust is all about. That is a taste of real love and trust between parents and their child. Enjoy that love and that bond you have with your parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are verrrrry fortunate. Keep your precious bond that you have with your dad! Dad's are soooooo important in their daughter's lives, and sometimes, dads simply dont 'get it'.... :)

It's just how dad's are. They care... they enjoy being Dads (hopefully) and they relish in their young ones.

all those things are done because when you are held by either of your parents, you feel safe. they're bigger and stronger than you and you always know they will protect you.
