Get her to a vet. Buy Nutri-Cal. Get her all of her shots and a check up. Do not worry, if you cannot afford it, in California we have Pet Care or PetCal Care. The vets will work with you to pay it off and you only have to pay a few dollars a month. It is completely worth is. My daughter, Goldie (I call her my daughter because I hand raised her and follows me everywhere), had that problem. It could be a hairball caught in her intestine. She will be fine once you take her to a vet.

It could be a number of things, and she DEFINITELY needs to go to a vet ASAP.
First thing that comes to mind is hyperthyroidism. This can be treated with medication. And it DOES need to be addressed IMMEDIATELY. In this condition, generally the cat's "system" speeds up dramatically, breathing heavy, burning through calories, etc. So, she'll also need to EAT A LOT MORE to get through it. However, it could be any of a number of other things, so please take her to a vet today!!!

like the others said, take it t a vet first. If it isn't a health problem, or it is and the cat needs to gain weight, gradually increase his feeding and give him lots of of little meat treats. If you give him a whole lot of food, at once, it will make him even more sick.

Might have a breathing problem, and it could be internal. Scary time. Hurry it to the vet, cross your fingers and pray! But if you lose it, let the tears come out and once you stop crying, go adopt anohter one. Or take one home that you find in the city park, or near the river. I know how sad that loss can be. believe me, I really know!

Yes, I've seen this before. I'm pretty certain your cat is at the end of it's life.
You can try to nurse it back to health but it won't work because of the cats inability to heal itself.
I am sorry.

You have to take your cat to the vet. It looks like he or she might heart worms.
