I have heard from every hairdresser I have ever had that it is bad news please don't use it. The reason it makes your hair shiney is because it has some ingrediance in it as floor polish. I have actually seen build up from it scraped off of someones hair with scissors. Trust me once I switched to sallon products I noticed the differnce. My hair is healthy and shiney and mostly all my firends envy my hair, and my boyfriend loves it. When I used pantene my hair felt greesy before the day was over and didn't look so great didn't have the luster it has now. The buildup caused from pantene can also contribute to hair loss because the buildup is choking the hair folicles and making it hard to grow healthy and normal. Go for a salon shampoo and conditionar trust me it makes all the difference. I use TIGI catwalk oatmeal and Honey shampoo and conditionar, my hair smells like oatmeal cookies. Please head this advice.

Um, well, for starters, it's a SHAMPOO. If it's out on market and it doesn't say No-Gain or anything along those lines, I beleive it is safe for your use. Check out the specific shampoo's and conditioners that are made specially for your hair type. Yes, there are benifits. Cleaner hair, volume, shine, color boosts, etc. Just be sure to look at the lable and what the shampoo should be used for. Wash, rinse (repeate if desired) and for best results use Pantene conditioner and hair products, such as hair gel, spray, or mousse. It is totally fine for anyone's hair. As long as you don't have some odd diesease where you are not able to wash or something like that.

Oh, and please, check you spelling and grammar next time.

You really shouldn't use store product on your hair, it's cheap for a reason. I heard that pantene is one of the better store products but if you want really healthy hair i would splurge for salon product

I use pantene pro v, and I find it makes my hair smooth and tangle-free.

No hair loss or anything at all, by the way, I have thick red hair, so it might work differently if you have thin hair.

All I know is that when I've told hairdressers that I've used it they have told me to stop. They tell me it contains nylon and some other things that are bad for your hair. I stopped using it. There are so many other better shampoos out there. Just keep shopping around until you find one that you like.

NO NO NO......PANTENE CONTAINS THE SAME DETERGENTS THAT YOU WOULD WASH YOUR CLOTHES WITH (LIKE TIDE, WISK) WHICH ARE HARSH CHEMICALS THAT WILL SEEP INTO THE SCALP....EVERY HAIRDRESSER WILL TELL YOU THAT'S PROBABLY THE WORSE SHAMPOO/CONDITIONER/STYLING PRODUCT TO USE.

it's FULL of wax - so it just coats your hair. as a stylist, i can actually scape off this wax with my scissers when someone asks about it. i wouldn't recommend - yuk.
