I cannot get micros anymore, my hairdresser said that my hair is too thick and the micros broke them off. I want to get my hair twisted (i think its called kinky twists) but Im not sure if 1. they'll mess my hair up and 2. if they'll look right on me... If anyone has them let me know what you do and don't like about them and please answer the other q's! I loved my micros and really want to be free b/c I hate doing my hair!!!

OK i never had them but i know some people who had them(i think there cute and they don't look like you have to do very much to them),but i heard one girl say that they dried her hair out and she had to get her ends cut......the majority of peeps who have kinky twist-theres look good on them -so im pretty sure yours would look cute too.......but i must agree w/you i love micros-taking them out is the worst part

if you twist your own hair with root stimulator and they have a shea butter lotion to go with it, my natural hair is twisted and it is about 11 inches long, this time last year it was 6. We are so used to seeing sally sue's hair in the magazines and on TV so we think our hair is unmanageable and we "hate our hair" all you need to do is moisturize it daily. If you consider putting the kinky twist, make sure that they are not puffy and dry looking, I have heard that, the hair is sooo dry and it would just dry your hair out, good luck

never had them but as a rule of thumb make sure you talk face to face with a least two hair dressers who can look at ur hair and give you GOOD advice, we are only on the net and cannot see or feel ur hair type. of what ur face looks like. what you can or cannot pull off depends a lot on what you look like...good luck, i hope you find a great style for u and ur lifestyle

I heard that you can't get kinky twists wet or your hair will dread. I don't know if it is true or not.
