A booster shot concerns the immunization shots one has as a baby and infant. A booster shot is recommended later to boost the levels of immunity from that period. It will wear off eventually if it is not repeated at certain times.

If a patient is choking, what is considered minor about it?? Generally if they are just coughing, you continue to encourage them to cough and hope this dislodges the item. If this does not work then you do the Heimlich Maneuver.

Is someone is choking, get them to attempt to cough up the object them self, if not, give the casualty several reasonably hard slaps between the shoulder blades with the casualty leaning forward.

A booster injection is an injection that is given later in life at a specific time to continue the immunity against a disease. If someone is choking, but they can still talk, then they need to start coughing.

a booster shot is a type of immunization that baby's and toddlers get. if a patient is choking on food do the Heimlich maneuver, however, if they are coughing than tell them to keep coughing until they get the food back up. never do the Heimlich maneuver if a patient is coughing. if the pt is coughing than they can breath and you only do the Heimlich maneuver when they have stopped breathing.

if a person is choking - or appears to be choking, be sure that they are seated either upright or side lying (if lying down) to prevent aspiration. some find that leaning forward also helps them to cough more forcibly. DON'T give them a sip of water or anything by mouth until you know that their airway is clear..if they turn blue, make the sign for choking or don't seem to be able to cough it up - do the heimlich maneuver.
