I love to read. I read mostly children's books, but I am an elementary teacher so I now have a good reason for it. Some favorites are:
The Chronicles of Narnia (since before the movie)
Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson
Where the Sidewalk Ends By Shel Silverstein
Harry Potter books
A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket
The Great Gilly Hopkins by Katherine Paterson
Number the Stars by Lois Lowry
etc, etc, etc

With a username like Bookworm, how can I pass up answering this question? I love reading. I read for information and for pleasure. I guess I'll be the one to say it: I love Harry Potter books. I know it's cheezy but they really are imaginative. It took me a while to get into them and now I can't wait for the next one. I usually read them when they come out in a day or three. I can re-read them again and again. But I read other stuff! I enjoy romance novels. Sandra Brown and Jodi Foster are my current favorite authors in that field. (Foster's Winston Brothers Trilogy is yummy!) I also really enjoy Nicholas Sparks books. I lived in NC (where he's from and sets his stories) for a few years and so can relate to the areas he writes about. My favorite book of his has to be "The Wedding". It is the follow up to "The Notebook" (which by the way is better as a book than a movie...and the movie was awsome!). If you liked "The Notebook", definitly read "The Wedding".

I love books. Right now I am reading a lot of Cara Lockwood books. I can't really think of a favorite... there are so many great books... each could be a favorite for a different reason. I like Chick Lit, history, sci-fi, ghost stories, and all of the traditional writers. Roald Dahl is probably my favorite writer over all.

I love to read. I think it's a great way to spend time. I don't have a favorite book. But I do like Nora Roberts(and J.D.Robb), Dean Koontz, I just recently got into reading romance thrillers. But I definitely like thrillers and mystery books. I'll read just about anything if the excerpt looks or sounds good.
