I wonder how long the anti illegals and anyone else for that matter can last in impoverished United States? Apparently we don't have any money left for border control ... we only had just enough money to give pay increases to our beloved administration ... :(

I could make my life a lot better by breaking the law and being a drug dealer, making loads more money than I do at my legal job. But, I don't because it is illegal not to mention immoral. Being born in the US is a privilege that not everyone in the world has. I wouldn't last long in South America because I was raised knowing a different world. Had I been born there, I wouldn't know any different. It is greed that brings people here and immigrants don't want to admit that because the only greedy people on the planet, to them, are Americans. Why shouldn't Americans stand up when their country is being infiltrated with people that don't respect her? If I moved to Mexico and refused to learn the language, how long before I get a job? Enough said.

Reasonable citizens are not calling illegals "lowlifes and scum." We understand illegal immigrants merely want a better life for themselves and their families.
However, the way to begin that journey is NOT by breaking American laws to do so. There IS a way to get legal status in the States. It is a slap in the face of every legal immigrant to even think about allowing illegals to stay no matter what the reason.
If you were to immigrate to Mexico illegally and get caught, do you know what would happen? You would be convicted of a felony, serve a prison sentence in a Mexican jail and be deported immediately upon release. There is not due process. There are no appeals. Yet, the very Mexican officials who enact and enforce these laws threaten to sue us in the World Court if we try to deport illegals. Doesn't that strike you as a little strange?
Sure, the road is long, hard and somewhat expensive. But being in the United States is a privilege - NOT a right. Your words, not mine - and I couldn't have said it better myself.

You know it really amazes me how people think how it is ILLEGAL for immigrants to be here. As if it were the greatest thing on earth, There a lot of weirdos here who are fighting for a war with no end for our lovely president. That's why he is considering for immigrants to fight war for this country and what about those Americans? I was born and raised in States but I can't stand injustice. I see those all great Americans a whole land of Opportunities yet they rather stand in a line every first of the month to collect all tax payers money for the rest of damn lives. Well, that infuriates me because an immigrant with no papers and 10 kids a family to feed will work 3 McDonald full time shifts. Yet their the Criminals!!!! Right? Give me a Break!!!

You Can Take This Weak Excuse
To Any One Of The MILLIONS Of Immigrants
That Have Taken The Pains To Enter Our Nation
In An Orderly And Legal Fashion
Ill Bet You Get Slapped In The Face Every Time
ILLEGAL ALIENS in America are here
only because they are GUILTY of CRIMINAL VIOLATION
of our FEDERAL LAWS,
Jumping our borders
and living in a shadowy underground economy.
They are morally culpable for
shoving aside those who adhere to the law
and enter these United States in orderly and Legal Fashion. Since when do criminals and cheaters
receive pride of place
for the blessings of liberty,
over those honestly, earnestly and faithfully
seeking to become American citizens?

You are quite the "infamous" one these days! Take heart. We like your moral observation. No one on this board is ready to make any concessions in that department. We hear you! Changing the approach to the human element changes the chemistry of the equation is what I think you are saying.
We never expect anyone to break laws, but the law of respect and human decency in addressing any hispanic on this board is what we most definitely have a problem with. In that case, we agree with the empathy you have toward the human dignity of the issues. We have never been able to tell who is legal and who is not by looking at anyone in Planet USA either.

Break the laws-face the penalty-your choice.
Not everyone breaks laws-some people have better values. Others feel they are entitled to more.
Some people are thankful just to wake up breathing another day. I think it is a matter of discontentment which makes many move. Are you thankful enough to live and work with what you have or do you want more at any cost. Choices everyone makes.

I want a taste of the high-life. I want to live like a billionaire for just a week. But being stuck in a middle-class American lifestyle, I'm fresh out of luck.
I know, I'll just hack into a bank's software and steal my billions! It's totally cool, according to your rationalization, because I just want a taste of the luxury that I can't currently afford.
Best. Argument. Ever.
There is always somebody who has it worse or better than you. Who are we to say that Mexicans are the only ones allowed to break laws to climb their way up the ladder?
P.S. Thanks for shooting yourself in the foot. Right from wikipedia:
"In authentic democracies a 'privilege' is granted to a few after birth, and a 'right' is an entitlement to all mankind from birth"

I am sorry, If I were to live in South America,I wouldn't be impoverished because I look European. Yes you too are racist preferring lighter skinned European looking Latinas over dark skinned ones. I am also educated and I would learn to speak Spanish quickly, so I would have no problem getting a job. I have no problem with legal immigrants. If they valued education and spoke English, they wouldn't have to break the laws to get what we have. We give out soo many work visas to educated, qualified people every year and i welcome them into our home. If you are an Illegal( no matter how sincere) you are a criminal and sorry, we shouldn't welcome you with open arms into our home.

Yep and steal jobs, raise insurance and taxes, refuse to speak english (so they can actualy be productive members of society), drive cars without a liscense (Cause many fatal accidents), reproduce so dang much that they go on welfare. They come here to get a free ride. I grew up near a bunch of illegals. They're not scum just different then us. Its a different culture. Not all of them are like that but like 70% are. Sorry that's just how it is. There own governments need to take care of them, not ours.
