I wouldn't doubt it. After all, their "president" was one of the ringleaders in the U.S. Embassy siege.

the others are very shallow responses.
Facts...
1) Iran has some relation with some shady groups in the world. If Hezbollah is shady group then they know each other.
2) Iran is not just one group or party! there are a few powerful groups inside that each have motives and reasons to have connection but only one or two are really connected
3) Iranian power holders nowadays are more clever and schooled than take this kind of risk in this very subtle situation
The answer is no!

Iran funds many terrorists groups, particularly Al Quida, Hamas and Hezbollah. It's president (a well known and photographically provable terrorist in the past) calls for the obliteration of Israelis and their country.
Whilst they were probably not directly involved their funding, training and encouragement probably went a long way towards encouraging it and enabling the terrorist to carry it out.
When will the West realise that in WWII the trick was to disrupt and destroy the supply column behind the enemy's lines and deprive him of fuel and ammunition bringing him to a halt.

I don't think he orchestrated it, he may have encouraged it and I'll bet he's happy about it. The more fronts they have going on the more he can get away with his nuke program.
