As a fraternity, we Freemasons are NOT a political organization. Individual members of a lodge may have completely opposing views on politics, and we do not discuss these in meetings.

If a man is a Freemason, however, he is most likely civic minded and cares about his community, so in that regard, he may personally take a stance on immigration. I am for strong immigration laws to prevent illegal entry into this country, and I am a Freemason. I also know other Masons who would most likely vote for illegals to stay. Opinions are diverse, as is our fraternity. We have members who are poor, rich, black, white, Jewish, Catholic, Muslim, and from every nationality.

If you have any questions that are more specific, please contact me.

First of all, the Free Masons are a philanthropic fraternity. The ignorance spewed by racists isn't tolerated by this organization. The secrecy of the Masons is deeply rooted in their origins. They have no religous ties, only the belief in a higher power is necessary. Masons devote a large part of their lives to the organization and their brothers and it helps them in their daily lives. The best thing Masons can do is pay attention and vote, as is the biggest effect we all can have.

Hmmmm ... .it's a fact too that the majority of our funding fathers were
Freemasons to a man ... most of the generals in the Civil War were Freemasons ...most of our Presidents have been Freemasons ... this country is riddled with Freemasons, and always has been ... but you know that, don't you? So why ask??

Freemasonry is a fraternal organization whose membership is held together by shared moral and metaphysical ideals and—in most of its branches—by a constitutional declaration of belief in a Supreme Being.[
While there have been many disclosures and exposés dating as far back as the eighteenth century, Freemasons caution that they often lack the proper context for true understanding, may be outdated for various reasons,[14] or could be outright hoaxes on the part of the author.[12] In reality, Freemasons are proud of their true heritage and happy to share it, offering spokesmen, briefings for the media, and providing talks to interested groups upon request.[12]

Moreover, many Masonic practices are determined by the custom of an individual Lodge, so any general description will not be, and cannot be universally true

Freemasonry has historically attracted criticism and suppression from the politically extreme right (i.e. Nazi Germany[53][54]) and the extreme left (i.e. the former Communist states in Eastern Europe). The fraternity has encountered both applause for “founding”, and opposition for supposedly thwarting, liberal democracy (such as the United States of America). It has also attracted criticism and suppression from theocratic states and organized religions for supposed competition with religion, or heterodoxy within the Fraternity itself.

Anti-Masonry is often related to Anti-Semitism and Anti-Zionism. Andrew Prescott writes: "Since at least the time of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, anti-semitism has gone hand in hand with anti-masonry, so it is not surprising that allegations that 11 September was a Zionist plot have been accompanied by suggestions that the attacks were inspired by a masonic world order."[55]

Holocaust

Forget-me-not Main article: Holocaust
See also: Freemasonry under Totalitarian Regimes
The preserved records of the Reichssicherheitshauptamt (Reich Security Main Office) show the persecution of the Freemasons.[71] While the number is not accurately known, it is estimated that between 80,000 and 200,000 Freemasons were exterminated under the Nazi regime.[16]

These moral lessons are communicated in performance of allegorical ritual, based on solid foundations of Biblical sources. A candidate progresses through degrees[20] gaining knowledge and understanding of himself, his relationship with others and his relationship with the Supreme Being, (as he interprets this for himself). After taking each degree, he will attend the same ritual many times, taking part in it from different points of view, of each office, until he knows it by heart—and so is in the best possible position to moralize about it—up to, and within the bounds, his own competence.
Regular Freemasonry welcomes Roman Catholics as members.[66] The negative reaction of "Grand Orient" Continental European Freemasonry—to what was perceived as Catholicism's theocratic and authoritarian political influence—has in countries such as Italy, Spain and Portugal historically tended toward anticlericalism, secularism and at times even total Anti-Catholicism. Interestingly, in 2005 the Regular Grand Lodge of Italy (RGLI), in amity with UGLE[67] announced that it had installed a Roman Catholic Priest as its Chaplain. (This office requires that the holder is a Freemason, but not necessarily be in Holy Orders).[68]

Just thought some might what to know-there is a whole web on it.

they are made of many people.

The Minutemen are made of many Race, Religions, Cultures,Nationalities-they are NOT racist. Where did you get that idea to compare? And new polls show the Minutemen are gaining in popularity-by many races, nationalities, cultures and religions. Gaining everyday-one of the fastest growing groups. that means mainstream America. They like them.

Some groups have other agendas-no getting around it. Watch who you support would be best idea.

No, I don't think freemason's are racist. I think they are exclusive and potentially (but not necessarily) prejudiced, but not racist.

They are nothing like LaRaza/Mecha, in part because they are not set on taking over someone else's country.

I am not sure I am following your question.

Groups often have good and bad. I have seen nothing bad happen on any great level from them. And I have heard good. What is your point? I don't see racism except from LaRaza and Mecha on the whole.
