the best food in the world is tasty, delicious food. No matter what is it.
For example if you say indian food is the best, what if the indian food served without any spice? Or if pizza is the best food in the world, what if it is served with less sauce or less cheese?
Can we say that they are still the best food in the world?
So the best food in the world is a well prepared food according to the recipe, no matter what kind of food is it

Pizza with thick crust, extra cheese, and several different kinds of meat.
Rib eye steaks cooked on a grill, with just a touch of soy sauce, served with mashed potatoes (w/ pepper gravy) and string beans.
Devil's food chocolate cake and some of this here Rhodesian coffee from 1975, of which it seems that I have the last can.
Fried chicken with rice & blackeye peas.

Are you talking about a national cuisine, or a specific item? I'm a big fan of Italian food (if I had to choose only one).
As a result, I love pasta carbonara, but it's got enough cholesterol for 1,000 lifetimes. It's like eating a big bowl of heart attack. Not that that stops me often enough.
