I have heard a lot of Mexicans saying that most of America is theirs because thier ancestors were here first. Have they forgotten that Mexicans came about from the Spanish slaughtering every Aztec and Inca they could, and breeding with the remander?

Actually, the Spanish interbred with all sorts of Amerindians. Most Mexicans are to some degree Spanish and Indian. However, a sizeable portion is either pure Spanish or pure Indian.
Also, there were no Incas in Mexico. Incas are in South America, in Peru primarilly.
Lest we forget, disease killed off the Indians in a manner that dwarfed whatever killing the Spanish did.

Well they have some Native American ancestry but Mexicans and Natives are very different mixes and have different cultures. Therefore they aren't the same. America is the Native Americans whether you like it or not. That is why sometimes I laugh at usually white people saying all these illegals are taking their jobs. But that is only similar to what happened to the natives so I suppose history does repeat itself and payback is a b i t c h.

ANY claim by ANY group citing historical 'rights' is faulty!
Throughout human history, there wave been border wars (including the native people of the Americas!)
borders change and the governments absorb the people there into the 'new' country.
on a small scale this is armed robbery
on the large scale it is conquest
wrong on both accounts but the people of earth have seemed to accept this as the way it is - unless they finally lose.
and the children and descendants have NO culpability nor responsability to REPAY or give back!

We could squabble all day about this one, Mexicans, Indians, English, Colonists, who should really own America? Well, rules and laws are already set up so, the only way Mexico will gain her back is by overthrowing our present government. They just might if they continue to come over our borders like a locust plague and start a civil war...it could happen people and it could happen in our lifetimes. Americans need to stay vigilent in our posts to ban illegal immigration. The melting pot is melted.

I am mexican, i live in Mexico, but i'm concerned about the immigration problem, since that's a mexican problem as much as american.
I understand you, and i believe that kind of afirmations doesn't help to the solution of this issue, i believe this is a moment of talking about the real arguments, the real causes, and the better solutions for all of us.
We are in this together, this problem started long time ago, and have been allowed by your government, and my government for all this time.
We all should investigate, read, so we can understand this better, and maybe implement better solutions.

Look, here's the bottom line, Mexicans can say what they want, but they know the truth. The problem is when people believe these people. The beauty of this country is that we have the Freedom of Speech, which protects all of us. So, I can say that Juan Valdez is here, and nobody can put me in jail, as my rights are protected. Likewise, Mexicans can rant and rave and this country protects them, as well.

If you lived in a place that was invaded by another country and then taken after a war. What would you do?
The present is a reflection of the past.
What if Americans had never taken and invaded Mexico.
I bet Mexico would be a rich country and we would be migrating to Mexico.

American doesn't belong to anybody - we are all immigtants here. Let's not forget, Columbus did NOT actually discover America. Native Americans may have, but we don't even know that for sure. Who knows who was here first, but it sure as hell wasn't us or any of our immediate ancestors.
